I know I am not alone in monitoring the Brady Blog. For the first several months I followed it everything was pretty quiet, with them only posting one or two entries each week.

The last couple of weeks they have really cranked up the spin, putting out 3-4 entries a day. A great deal of these -- I count 13 since the second week of September -- have been about Concealed Carry Permit holders breaking the law/being terrorists/eating babies.

Seems like they are really getting their crowd riled up against CCW. Any thoughts? Are they prepping to push certain legislation, or is this just a different twist on the whole "gun owners are all murderers" rhetoric?

If you have a minute this week, please write your representatives expressing your concern that a group that deals in such obvious lies and misinformation is able to exert so much influence in Washington. (I always like to use specific examples of such misinformation directly from their website)

It's just more of the "gun owners are all criminals" BS. I dont take them seriously andI doubt that very many folks do. Did any of the "candidates" (line up would be more accurate)for last years POTUS election seek out the brady bunch's endorsement? None thatI heard of. They're just lost 'lilsheeple bleating away, nothing more.

Hell, I think more pro- Constitutionpeople check out the BB's site than anyone else does, just to see what kind ofdrivil they're spewing this week!

They're about as effective as Stevie Wonder in a game of Pictionary.

NOTHING they said would happen because of CCW has happened. Their ship has sailed, hit an iceberg and sunk.

Your point would make sense, the data will never support their claims, so they must resort to repeated propaganda to paint a picture for anyone who will listen that concealed permit holders are "just as criminal as the rest of us".

Oddly enough, when you Google [brady bunch blog] you get hits about some old TV show... But here's the link: http://blog.bradycampaign.org/

I would still love someone to point blank ask Helmke or one of his ilk this direct question: "If a person is going to buy a handgun, should they go ahead and also get a concealed carry permit?"

The resulting runaway processes in their brain should put them into a catatonic state for several hours... ;)

They're now in the same position as Holocaust deniers and 9/11 "truthers". They're just making things up. There will always be a malicious and or gullible few who believe them, but as far as the public at large goes, the game's up.

Malicious! Yeah... good word for their propaganda... and those who parrott it. Then... thered's a ignorant one's who chime in as tho they know what they're talkin' about who've never held a gun in their hands in their life. They have all the answers w/o even knowing the questions. They're also uneducable 'cause they're 'convinced'. You really can't fix stupid.

They areirrelavant and their very mention is not worth the time. The fact is that the very politicians they spent money helping to get them in office are not anxious to follow their agenda, even though they may agree with their idealogy.

I followed their crap for a while, signed up for their updates and all. Everye-mail I get from themnow are begging fordonations. It appears they are desperate for funds. I used a trash e-mail account, so their pleas sit in the rubbish along with offers for Viagra, and get rich schemes frombankers in Namibia and Zambia.

If only the brady bunch put half of their antigun energy into something more constructive like organising food drives to help put food on the tables of folks struggling. Wouldn't that be something.

Recently I've been helping to feed 4 adults, 1 kid and 1 dog. All this while searching for a job and clinging desparately to my faith and my firearms. Its pretty tough out there I know that for sure. I am just 1 guy.

DO NOT EVER UNDERESTIMATE the power a crowd of morons can wield. Even if that crowd of morons is surrounded by lucid people. The disarmament wing of the leftist establishment may look like a battered child right now, but they are just as wicked as the islamic jihadists who will wait as long as they have to, until they have an opportunity to sneek into the crowd of lucid people and go supernova.

allah achkbar.
