That's the "final order", which the department apparently ignored. I think Ironside is looking for a publication date for the "Florida Department of Environmental Protection Bulletin 09-03". An online source for the bulletin would be awesome, but I've searched high and low and not found one yet. Date or no, some text copied off a web forum won't hold as much water with Johnny Law as a copy of the actual bulletin.

The date is as good as any. I have added it to my copy.

Thanks

I did a little more digging, but can only find part of an e-mail sent to a member here, unfortunately he did not include the e-mail header. It was received on 10/13/2009:

Dear Mr. xxxxx,
I wanted to let you know the following is being promulgated to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection:

“Effective immediately, the Department of Environmental Protection will comport with section 790.25(3)(h), Florida Statutes. This will allow persons visiting the state parks to lawfully display firearms while they are engaged in fishing, or camping or going to or returning from a fishing, camping, or lawful hunting expedition. Park visitors are reminded to properly store firearms while not engaged in the above activities.”
Sincerely,
Douglas Darling
Chief of Staff
