1st day Alameda City Open Carry- Bay Area/East Bay

Well today was my first day open carrying my Springfield XD9 Compact with a 511 Holster in the city of alameda- went to eat at chipotle in alameda center and grocery shopping at safeway on harbor bay. It was uneventful, the way it should be.

Anyone else have an UOC experiences in alameda or alameda county?

I made calls to Berkeley PD, Alameda PD, and Oakland PD- all have confirmed they allow UOC. However, each has said they don't recommend.

vtecless, Alameda's pretty close, please feel free to join us at our next get together.

Thanks for asserting your inalienable rights. Soon "California" will incorporate the 2nd amendment and you'll actually have a right to under the "State" constitution.
