First off, I'm stationed in VA, a great state to own, and OC a weapon. However my legal state of residance is still the great state of WI. I've gotten so used to having my shiney friend on my belt that I really feel off if it's not there.
I get asked to leave a store maybe once a month, but other than a few :what: every now and than nothing ever really comes of it. I drive past cops all the time with it on the dash of my car, and waltz around the city of Norfolk like it's not even there.
So I was rather disheartened when I was reading about all the trouble people are having in Milwaukee, and other places around the city. LEOs running numbers, asking for ID and just generaly hastling people.
None of my fire arms are registered (there is no such thing in VA) and I don't have a CCW because I don't want Big Brother in my business at every traffic stop.
I feel the NEED to maintain my safety, and those around me, but it would be a complete Sh*t storm from my command if I got arrested for "disturbance of the piece" what ever the he'll that means
So I guess the whole point of this post is to dig out some input on how likely it is that a law abidding citizen will get anything more than just hastled for utilizing a Right.
