At the last bay area UOC meetup a couple of folks expressed interest in doing some SF bay waterfowl hunting this season. The season opens October 24th. Wednesday evening there will be a meeting about the upcoming hunt. It is a great way to learn about waterfowl hunting in the refuge.

The Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge will be holding a duck hunting Information meeting at the Environmental Education Center in Alviso on Wednesday, October 7 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The meeting will begin with a presentation discussing all duck hunting areas of the Refuge, the regulations for each area, and work party opportunities. The meeting will then be open for questions and answers with managers, Refuge Law Enforcement, and state game wardens. The Environmental Education Center is located at 1751 Grand Blvd., Alviso, CA
