It's not a black eye. It's a dumbass husband who thought his soon-to-be X was going to walk off with the kids an possible million in cold hard cash. It's too bad he got the jump on her.

Can you say, Dee dee dee?

And it is a black eye. People will lump the group into the behavior and vice versa.

What college did you get your degree in psychology from so I can avoid letting my kids apply there. :)

no calm down. Why do you want to attack at me like that?

I am trying to discuss an issue. What are you trying to do?

Excuse me, Meleanie Hain is in no way a black eye.

She was an exemplary person and a great asset to the second ammendment.

She was also a member of this forum.

It is a tragedy and and I believe everyone has been discussing this in the wrong light.

This is not a political thing, please stop making it one.

I don't think this story says any more about open or concealed carry or gun ownership than a home fire might say about owning a fire extinguisher: sometimes bad stuff happens despite best precautions.

This sounds like a tragic case. But would it be any less tragic or any more legitimately political had the husband used a weapon other than a gun to kill his wife? A grown man can generally injure or kill a woman with his bare hands, with a knife or club, or a host of other weapons.

No, this story is not about gun ownership or concealed or open carry. It is about domestic violence.

My condolences to all who are grieving.

Well, not so much. You were attempting to declare something. Your posts are not "discussion."

Ms. Hain was a good OCer. Her husband killed her. He was not the OCer, he was an LE (from what I recall).

I was not saying or trying to imply that Melanie was a black eye.

I was trying to point out that many persons that ride the emotional bandwagon and are anti gun could use this event to serve their own purposes.

Easily this event could be "spun" into anti gun propaganda. (black eye)

I was trying to point that out and ask us all to learn from this tragedy and if needed modify our behaviors and often times comments.

You weren't?

I suppose I was as much as you use your cow incident as a claim to fame.

All those incidents DO help shape opinion you know.

So dont kill your wife or feed the cows.

Claim to fame? What in the world is wrong with your head? I merely posted that incident as it was pertinent to Open carry.

Then the thread got severely hijacked. And it was funny for a long time.

And what the hell do you mean All Those Incidents? You have no idea what you are talking about.

I have had TWO incidents. That one was humorous, and is not frequently referenced. The thread IS frequently referenced on the other hand.

The other incident resulted in a disorderly conduct charge that was swiftly taken care of.

I DO NOT claim any "Fame" I don't give a flying monkey f--- what you or anyone else that has never met me thinks of me.

I would sure hope you are not this big of a jack ass when you are speaking fact to face with someone.

And as for my wife, You had better learn quickly that speaking of anothers wife in a negative light is a surefire way to piss them off. Not a good thing to do when carrying a weapon.

I have felt like it several times when I have to maneuver through difficult streets or traffic to get to a business that still has all of their signs and interior lit up yet is closed for business.

This is one place where Arizona has it right, a business that is closed must turn off all lighted signs and a business that is permanently closed must cover or remove all signs.
