It looks like there were two hundred to 300 or so people there most armed. There were quite a few state and federal candidates giving speeches maybe a little more inflammatory rhetoric wise than was the case last time in Glenwood City.

An email I received from Ole Olsen:

We had close to 600 people, if was fantastic.

I’m more than a little chapped at the News station for “selective” reporting, I say reporting because it wasn’t even close to anything that resembled journalism!
They interviewed me for about 30 minutes, I explained the purpose of the event and why this isn’t going away, expect to see more of these.
They chose to cover the 11 protesters instead. After 1 of the speakers pointed out to the that they (the protesters) must not be too afraid of people with guns; because they were there among about 300 armed citizens, the protesters left.

I met your guy Mark Todd, although a rather brief meeting, I liked what I heard.

We videoed the whole event. I’m intending to try to get something out in DVD and YouTube on this. When? I don’t know. I have someone working on it, and I’ll get out an update on it when it materializes.

Best regards;

Ole

The only media there was Channel 5 from the twin cities. No Wisconsin News media at all!
