Need a voice recorder

Ok, I already have two voice recorders, but they are old, digital, but old. The battery life sucks and I can only get about 5.5 hours on each one - battery lasts for about 3 full records.

I would like to get something with MUCH more recording time and hopefully better battery life - finding one that's slim would be beneficial (not slim like the new iPod touch, but definitely well under a half inch).

Please give me your suggestions or tell me what you have and why you like/dislike it.

I'm hoping to try out the free voice recorder app for android phones. My main concern is how it would interfere with other operations of the phone, but android multitasks, so I'm hopeful it would work well without having to carry one more item. I would think a cheap 16G flash card would hold a LOT of voice recordings.

Verizon is supposed to have an android phone (Motorola?) next month.

My recommendation is the SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 player. It includes radio functionality as well as voice recording. up to 8GB of internal memory plus a MicroSD slot for additional room (currently up to 32 GB additional). The form factor is very small. about a quarter inch thick, an inch and a half to 2" wide, about 2.5" tall. Very good battery life.
