Finally, here's your chance to make your feelings known on robo calls. This maybe the first survey of its kind. Let all your friends know and ask them to vote.

I don't answer calls from 1-800 numbers. I'll let voice mail pick them up. Also, if I don't recognize a number or there is no caller id,it goes to voice mail.

    I find robo-calls annoying.

Just some rhetorical questions off the top of my head.

If a person is not already engaged on an issue, can a brief, superficial robo-call really engage them?

If a person is already engaged on an issue, wouldn't he likely already know in better depth the information in the robo call? This is one of my problems with NRA. Being well connected through the web, especially this site, I alreay know all about stuff before NRA-ILA's e-mail alert arrives. There has been a couple times that their superficial e-mail alert annoyed me because I felt something was being skewed.
I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.

Unfortunately, you didn't include an option for my method of robo call handling.

let's just say it involves duct tape, a large wooden stake, &flammable liquid.

As for the machine doing the recorded talking, something like this would be my response:

Lay the handset down and walk away, let the damn computer waste its time and its operator's money.

Maybe we should make a Robocall poll with robocalls.
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)

    None of the above!

I believe the Kenyan that moved from Chicago to D.C. had used that technique to gain support.
And considering thevlow intelligence level of most of his supporters, I bet many of them thought it was a live personal call and not a recording.
