Doesn't the reelection committee of John Corzine ever tire of their placing terms on items that don't exist.

Saw a TV commericial paid for by the Corzine committee that ran down his republican opponent for standing against a law that would illegalize armor piercing rifles!

How desperate.:banghead:

What size cannon is needed to fire said rifle with a sabot in order to get it to pierce the intended target. What's the max range of the rifle? At what distance does the rifle start to tumble and lose its intended effect?

I suppose if someone were to be wearing this type of armor.

And the rifle had a bayonet on the front like this.

Then I suppose it could technically be called an armor piercing rifle.

But even that would be stretching the definition.

Does this really surprise anyone?

This is a state that considers a BB gun a firearm and a 22cal. Glenfield model 60 an assault weapon (17rd tube mag).

The patients are definitely running the asylum.

'Know what tho... the average voter 'thinks' there are 'armor piercing rifles'... just as there are high powered anything guns. Guns are neither... Ammo is (sometimes).

But... this is New Jersey. I've been thru New Jersey... stayed in New Jersey... and wondered afterward why. No offense... but people are really WEIRD there. :uhoh:
