Senator Cuccinelli has been there for Virginia gun rights when we needed him, sabing gun shows in Northern Virginia, and keeping your gun purchase info private from prying localities.

Now the Cooch needs your help to win the Virginia Attorney general Election!

His opponent Steve Shannon wants to ban private gun sales at gun shows and has voted against repealing the ban on concealed carry in restaurants, see vote at http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp...+HV3240+SB1035.

But good news! Political contributions in Virginia are tax creditable on your state tax return - so if you file single/married and give $50/$100 you get back fromt he state in just a few months $25/$50!

Also, if you are donating to any VA campaign, make sure that you note your VCDL-PAC affiliation on the contribution form. Let them know that you are giving your $ because, at least in part, this group has endorsed the candidate. Let them SEE the power driving VCDL and the PAC. Unfortunately, OCDO has no PAC, so you probably can't use that too...

I just donated online. Unfortunately, there was no place to enter "VCDL-PAC" on the online form.

I guess I could have entered "VCDL-PAC" in the field for 'occupation' or the field for 'employer' (I always leave those blank -- they are required to ask but I am not required to answer!), but I thought that might cause some confusion or problem.
