Members of MOC,
Over the next few days you have a responsibility that should not be taken lightly. Your vote for Vice President is extremely important to our organization. All of you joined MOC because you believed in what open carry stands for and you wanted to help our cause grow. I share that passion and enthusiasm and with your vote will help lead MOC to a prosperous future.
During the voting process you will read some answers that were given to a questionnaire I filled out. Let me tell you a little more about my background and ideas so that you can make the most educated decision possible.
My background is in sales and management. I started my first business at the age of 9 and never really looked back since. While my friends were at spring break I was attending multiple sales and leadership seminars by some of the worlds foremost authorities on the subjects, Brian Tracy and Tom Hopkins. I worked relentlessly at my first real job and went from a part time position to overseeing 11 stores in a fortune 500 company in a year and a half. While there I took the initiative and developed my own sale training manual and after proving its effectiveness through my own staff I was charged with implementing it within the region. As a result sales increased considerably in all of my stores. My best asset has always been my ambition and the high expectations I set for myself in anything I do.
From day one I will set my sights on increasing membership, and capital so that we can have the resources and numbers to help our cause. I will propose new plans to increase member benefits. Including working with local businesses to offer discounts to our members and increase advertising revenue for our newsletter. Most importantly though I promise to always represent MOC in a professional and responsible manner, to act as an ambassador for our company and to always perform to the best of my abilities.
Thank you,
John
