what about applications?

Got your application and read it. I must say I find it hard to believe most of what you wrote, next you'll say you can walk on water....;):p But other than that it looks good.

Dear members of MOC, Inc,

My name is John Roshek and I am running for the office of V.P. for MOC, Inc. For the past five months I have proudly served as your south east regional coordinator. With your support we have had many successful events, but most importantly we have started to lay the foundation for a very bright future. Together we have raised hundreds of dollars for MOC and the 2A March, with several more fundraisers in the works. We have educated countless people on open carry and have become a staple in our communities through our picnics, media exposure and our charitable works.

As successful as we have been this past year we are at a critical point in our company's development. We need strong and passionate leaders who will continue to move MOC forward. I know that I am the right person for that job. I believe that one day our small organization can grow to be one of the most influential and well known organizations in the state. I ask that you give me the opportunity to help lead us there.

My plan for 2010 is to increase our foothold in the community through larger events and more community service work. I will aim to triple our membership next year and hold more fundraisers so that MOC may have the capital it needs to better serve its members. If elected I promise to continue to fight for our cause and work to ensure our rights are not only recognized but respected.

Members of MOC I ask for your confidence, your trust and your vote.

Thank you.

John Roshek

Members of MOC,

Over the next few days you have a responsibility that should not be taken lightly. Your vote for Vice President is extremely important to our organization. All of you joined MOC because you believed in what open carry stands for and you wanted to help our cause grow. I share that passion and enthusiasm and with your vote will help lead MOC to a prosperous future.

During the voting process you will read some answers that were given to a questionnaire I filled out. Let me tell you a little more about my background and ideas so that you can make the most educated decision possible.

My background is in sales and management. I started my first business at the age of 9 and never really looked back since. While my friends were at spring break I was attending multiple sales and leadership seminars by some of the worlds foremost authorities on the subjects, Brian Tracy and Tom Hopkins. I worked relentlessly at my first real job and went from a part time position to overseeing 11 stores in a fortune 500 company in a year and a half. While there I took the initiative and developed my own sale training manual and after proving its effectiveness through my own staff I was charged with implementing it within the region. As a result sales increased considerably in all of my stores. My best asset has always been my ambition and the high expectations I set for myself in anything I do.

From day one I will set my sights on increasing membership, and capital so that we can have the resources and numbers to help our cause. I will propose new plans to increase member benefits. Including working with local businesses to offer discounts to our members and increase advertising revenue for our newsletter. Most importantly though I promise to always represent MOC in a professional and responsible manner, to act as an ambassador for our company and to always perform to the best of my abilities.

Thank you,
John
