Went to check my weapon at Whatcom County Courthouse, although I had done this several times the guards looked at each other and the one told the lady who has checked me in several times, "Do it how we practiced this morning"

She then informed me she had to accompany me to the lock boxes, and when I got there she informed me the reason why is because the day before an old lady checked her weapon but then not only forgot to lock the box, but left the door wide open.

I told her "Wow, I am glad she had enough sense to protect herself but that could have been a very different situation"

Our lock boxes, are right on top of the steps to the main/front entry way to our court houses.
