For the past two years, I have been involved in firearm issues in Ct. and California.

I got involved because of the James Goldberg arrest by Glastonbury Police on June 21, 2007.

My current business and private life also leads me to now carry a weapon for self defense of myself and my wife.

Ihave also posted a great deal of firearm related information together withvideo/audio clips on http://www.ourrockyhill.comand will begin to transfer and post newinformation to http://www.ctgunrights.com.

Until James Goldberg wasarrested, I was under the impression that weapons had to be concealed.

I have since made it my goal to educate as many people as possible on the topic ofOPEN carry in CT, and haveobtained status as a NRA Pistol Instructor and authored my own Pistol and Revolver Safety course that is now approved by the Department of Public Safety.

Obviously, I have expanded my interest well beyond theobvious issue of OPEN carry in CT.

In my quest to find answers and inform others, I have posted here on Opencarry and other message boards on the Internet.

I have joined and made a small contribution to the newly formed Connecticut Citizen's Defense League an organization that advocates Opencarry and other firearm related issues.

I hope that those with interest in Connecticut Firearm issues take the time to visithttp://www.ctgunrights.com so I don't have to keep postinginformation with links to my other website(s).

I'm oviously going to keep posting and reading information here at Opencarry.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK JOHN AND MIKE FOR PROVIDING ME WITH A PLACE TO VENT MY FRUSTRATION TOGETHER WITH THE COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS ON A VARIETY OF HANDGUN RELATED ISSUES.

Thank you Ed,

This forum and your contribution has certainly helped me understand the legal issues in Connecticut. It has been encouraging to see that there are people in this state willing to call a duck a duck, and that the emperor has no cloths. I suppose sometimes it just takes one or two courageous people to kick it off.

I posted your link to our links column on http://www.lpct.org

Please keep it up! :)

P.S. If you (Ed and anyone else) have written any articles on gun rights or other Liberty minded issues, especially in Connecticut, I would love to post them on our website. I am always looking for Connecticut people that like to write to post their thoughts toward pro-liberty ideas.
