I hope this garbage gets stopped in the Senate.
I hope so too, but the only way to make sure it to contact your senators. I will be making phone calls tomorrow and Monday.

Don't hurt to try, it's still our right and we must attempt, but then our senatorshavn't listened to American's anymore than Congress.

Good to see they were able to cut through the crap and psychotic attacks and get this one through. Hopefully it slides through the senate without issue.

Not to be too nit picky here, but our senators ARE Congress :). Well, at least part of Congress.

I don't have a problem with them banning me from being forced into their health care system. It prevents them from coming after me for money or imprisoning me after I refuse it.

I don't think the supreme court would uphold a ruling against a gun-owning citizen for not having health care and being prosecuted by the .gov, if the .gov bans them from getting a federal plan due to exercising their 2A rights.

Many people understand that the so called "stimulus bill" wasn't about helping the economy but was intended to rob the country of wealth and increase government power and control.

Many people understand that the so called "cap and trade" bill wasn't about global warming or green energy but was intended to rob the country of wealth and increase government power and control.

Many people understand that the so call "national health care bill" isn't about providing quality health care for every citizen but is intended to rob the country of wealth and increase government power and control.

Those who think the government has the best interests and welfare of the citizens first and foremost in it's mind when enacting bills..... simply don't understand.

only by two votes and one being a socialist Republican. I think it is time we tar and feather these traitors. Why has no one sued over the constructional of the health bills.

I'm going to edit this for correctness, hope you don't mind...

Many people understand that the so called "stimulus bill" wasn't about helping the economy but was intended to create a false sense of recovery and help game the economic numbers. The idea was to simulate a recovery in order to get consumers and business spending again, inhopes of starting an actual recovery. The intention was good; the idea was beyond idiotic.

Bottom line: no mass conspiracy here - better keep looking.

Many people understand that the so called "cap and trade" bill wasn't about global warming, but was about incentivizing a move away from oil dependancy - something good that would not naturally happen without government intervention.

Many people understand that the so call "national health care bill" IS about providing adequate health care for all Americans... but none of those people frequent this board.

Now we're in touch with reality.

There is absolutely no bill for healthcare in the Senate right now. Let's work to keep it this way. Also ifI am reading the news on Govtrack.us correctly the only thing that passed last night was an amendment to the bill, not the bill itself. I need to keep digging into this to find the rest of the hidden parts I guess.

Well, yes. If one accepts as reality the explanations given by the government.

If one digs a little deeper, keeping property rights and basic economic principles in mind, he finds the explanations don't add up.
