This sounds like all kinds of fun. I would attend if I knew for sure I'd be home then. Unfortunately, I can't give you a yes or no. If you have it, and I'm home, I'll show up. That's the best I can do...

I may be interested, although, it is about a 45 minute drive from me... Might try to convince my Mom to tag along, and would also have my daughter, (if allowed...)

It doesn't sound like there is enough interest in this right now. Maybe we will revisit the issue at a later date.

I think if you got closer to Detroit (south Oakland/Macomb county) you would get more takers.

How about Laser Tag? That should seriously get some takers from here!!!

This location is only 15 minutes from detroit off 94 and is in Macomb County. I tried calling a bunch of bowling alleys in different locations around the area and this was the best offer I could find for the cost, but I 'm open to suggestions.

Doesn't look like it. Not nearly enough interest. For this we need at least 30-40 people. I was hoping to get 50. Maybe in the future we will revisit it.

Maybe sometime in the spring? I would have liked to attend, but time and money is limited for me right now. This does sound like fun.

I'd be interested and since my high bowling score ever is 33 no one needs to be worried about me placing anywhere near the top score.

bowls 33 shoots 100's. So if she has a bowling ball in her hands you might be safe, any firearm...look out.

I am interested in the bowling event. If you need help planning let me know. I live just a few minutes from Kingswood Lanes. Also if we can confirm a date I know I can sell a good number of tickets to the guys on my current league.

Ok everyone below are the dates and times available to hold our bowling fundraiser. The location will be Fraser Star Lanes. It is located at 14 Mile and Garfield in Fraser. Ten minutes from 696, 94, M59 and 15-20 minutes from I-75. Please PM or post your suggestion for the ideal date and time out of those posted below. I spoke with the owner today and he will grant permission to anyone who attends to carry at the event. So if you do not have a CPL it is ok permission will be granted. The cost will be $20 per person paid in advance and $25 at the door. It will include 3 games, 2 slices of pizza, and pop.

The dates and times are as follows:

    January 16 - 1pm
    January 23 - 8:45pm
    January 30 - 1pm or 8:45pm

A decision will be made as to the date and time this week as bowling events are popular this time of year and times get booked quickly.

I will post dates, times, and directions when the date is decided
Any chance of the owner putting up a "lawful carry is welcome sticker" in the window. Can we add them to our list of OC friendly businesses?

Yes that is not a problem. I asked him when I was there and he said please bring it to the event and he will personally put it up in front of all of us who attend. Sounds like a photo op to me.

***Please note the original post a date and time has been set***
