Between that and The Stranger's article, it's obvious there are a few writers and publications taking aim at the SAF. Apparently, they enjoy shooting down the right to keep and bear arms by shooting off their mouths.
"If we were to ever consider citizenship as the least bit matter of merit instead of birthright, imagine who should be selected as deserved representation of our democracy: someone who would risk their daily livelihood to cast an individually statistically insignificant vote, or those who wrap themselves in the flag against slightest slights." - agenthex

Tawnos, your comment triggered a memory of mine of jury selection. They brought in about 50 of us because the trial was about a gun presentation (self defense or not?) and they expected numerous peremptory challenges. At least a dozen prospective jurors used the phrase "I believe in the Second Amendment but there should be some rules against guns." Rush Limbaugh would call these people "seminar callers".

I will go to my grave being sorry I didn't say, when I had the chance, "I believe in the First Amendment but she shouldn't be allowed to say what she just said." Too many people use phrases like that to convince others that they are reasonable when they are anything but.

I absolutely love that statement. I will repeat that as much as I can.

Allen's national televised statement about CC'ing for tactical advantage rubs me the wrong way. It's like they are looking for the chance to use their firearm.
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)
