Many municipalities offer geographic informaiton systems (GIS) maps on their web sites. These maps will tell you who owns a property, show you the property lines and often offer measurement tools. If you can find the schools in your area, all you should have to do is enter their addresses and you will have their property lines in minutes.

Unfortunately Saukville's doesn't let you print the measurements, but I can print the map, then make measurements online. I can then transfer the measurements to my print out, and I have a nearly perfect school zone map.

Good luck,

Geoff
