I went to the one in Falls Church, but cannot get away from work for the ones out of the area during the week.

I would hope that everyone who is local to these events would attend and stand up as a concerned constituent.

Between my wife having pneumonia, and me trying to get sick I will do my best to be there.

Doctor said yesterday it is the walking kind. He said it's a good thing she came in because if it got any worse they would have to put her in the hospitol. Hopfuly the meds will help, he is hoping she should feel better in the next couple days. We are going through our normal winter ritual, first the kids get sick one right after the other and than us.

From Va-Alert dated 11/20

VCDL will protest Richmond Mayor Dwight C. Jones's participation in
Bloomberg's anti-gun group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, on Monday,
November 23rd at 6 PM at Richmond City Hall (intersection of 9th and
Broad Streets - across from the General Assembly Building).

The more that can come to show support for VCDL on this matter, the
better.

Carry is legal at the meeting. As usual, we will be handing out "Guns
Save Lives" stickers in the lobby.

Bring your recorders. Last time there were some problems with both security and the PD.

Maybe because he works security at Richmond City Hall. :p

BTW - Peter Nap is going to be upset that you can't tell us or our quotes apart. :)

Cause Grapeshot is: THAT GUY!

Just want to verify OC is legal, as I don't yet have CHP?

If OC is ok (with no CHP),I'll try to be there.
OC is quite legal in City Hall - state preemption and all that.

The "discussion" was about their extra legal rule regarding signing in for a public meeting.

Ha anyone gotten an opinion of the sign in rule from the FOIA Council?

On another point, are there any plans for a get together after the meeting?
