Save the Seattle taxpayers a lot of money and get rid of the ridiculous gun ban in Seattle's parks before it ends up in the courts and you ultimately lose. It is a no win situation for Seattle. The City WILL lose and the taxpayers will pay for it. The taxpayers will also remember how the city squandered their tax dollars attempting to defend an unconstitutional infringement of their rights when the next election rolls around.

Unfortunately the tax dollar issue is not an arguable point as they have a pro bono law firm handling the case.

Will that firm pay the attorney fees for the SAF as well as any potential settlements or other lawsuits over the issue?

Probably not. Pro-bono doesn't work that way as far as I understand it.

And the tax money has ALREADY been spent on the creation of signs and the hours that service personnel had to take away from other duties to put them up. Then, the hours they will have to spend on taking them down and storing or destroying/recycling the signs.

I think McGinn himself should be ordered by the Seattle tax payers to sue Nickels after this is struck down. Nickels ordered the intentional waste of public funds, he should be held accountable.

I agree that the tax money has already been spent but that was not the doing of McGinn. Yelling at him for wasting tax payer money is unproductive as it is not his administration that did it.

I also agree that Nickels should be held personally liable for the repayment of the monies spent on the signs as well as the manpower that was spent coming up with the rule.

" How do we build the strongest possible team to achieve the policy objectives and values set forth during Mike's campaign?"

That is utter gibberish. This ridiculous concensus building crap is NOT government, it is corporate manipulation. It is not Team Building. It is carrying out the obligations and wishes of the Citizens you are HIRED by as Employees. This is not inclusion of Citizens as a Stakeholder, but as Owners.

" How do we build public trust in the new administration?"

Trust is EARNED by demonstrating Right Actions. It is not demanded. It is done by adhering to principles of our Constitutional Republic.

"What do you view as the incoming administration and the city’s greatest challenge – what should we do first out of the gate?"

To comply with the WA Constitution and Laws of the Peoples Legislature in re. firearms laws which the City is currently in CONTEMPT of.

Mayor -Elect McGinn doesn't care what I think nor do I care what he thinks.

As for Seattle, I live there, shop there, visit there, or even drive through when going South (405 for me).

If I need to spend any money it will be somewhere besides Seattle.

Maybe we can get all the Left Wing Whacko's, Communists, Socialists, and Looney Liberals to move to Seattle. Then, with a judicious use of "Razor Wire" we can keep them there, letting the rest of the State live a nice life of liberty and freedom.

If that's not practical, maybe we could encourage a management program to what Dept of Wildlife does when a particular specie becomes too large and damages the environment. You know, various seasons when they could be hunted. Wouldn't that be interesting, a Liberal tied down across the hood of an old Ford Pickup headed back to Granite Falls or Darrington:uhoh:

The EARTHQUAKE will take care of that. Act of Good ol God. Just make sure all you O-C'ers can get across the mountains. We'll be gone, just come in and take over...
