The Willows Unified School District board of trustees has expelled a 16-year-old for having unloaded shotguns in his pickup parked just off the Willows High School campus.

Parisio said she will appeal the district's decision to the Glenn County Board of Education. If the decision is upheld and her son is sent to a continuation school, Parisio said she would likely home-school Tudesko.

What do you guys think? Should he have been expelled or face any punitive measures?

No more so than anyone else who has a legal firearm NOT ON SCHOOL PROPERTY.

He wasn't breaking any law. His only mistake was consenting to a search. Even if you have "nothing to hide", you can still be punished for it, especially in California. Don't consent to searches.

No more than he should for farting at home and contributing to global warming.

If he wasn't on school property , then why would they have any jurisdiction over him concerning this??:banghead:

If they can get away with this then what is to stop them from saying he had them in his home and they didn't like it . :cuss:
