New to MOC with questions about CPL

I found this website a few weeks ago and have been hooked ever since.

I was wondering if anyone could describe in detail the procedure for applying for a CPL

I am currently out of Michigan but will be returning in January and would definitely like to attend any gatherings in SE Michigan especially Ann Arbor area where I go to school

Get a CPL packet from your local police station. Free

Take a CPL course from a CPL instructor. $75-$175

Fill out the forms in the packet, get 2 photo's and your certificate of completion of the CPL course and go to your county building and hand everything in, pay fee. $105

Then wait.

Does the packet have to be from the police station where I currently live or my permanent address ?

Where can I find CPL courses to take ?

How long is the wait for approval ?

All packets in Michigan should be the same.
