Although I'm still in the process of researching the validity of this, if it pans out to be true, time is of the essence. Watch the video, sign the petition and contact your senators. It would take a 2/3 majority in the senate to approve the treaty so contact your senators and let them know you are against this treaty, start your own local petitions and ACT!

Fortunately, the global climate change is very likely to be exposed as a complete hoax as time goes on due to the emails that have come out against the U.N. climate change scientists. The entire premise for global government rests with "saving the planet from mankind" has been exposed as a fraud. Only time will tell, but the further out this treaty is, the less likely it holds together.

The globalist house of cards is about to suffer a major fall !

As was stated by the original post, I have been trying to verify this as well. I found more than a few sites that read pretty much the same way, maybe not as strongly but with the same message basically.

As was stated, if this is TRUE, time is truly of the essense here. I've gone ahead and taken the liberty of posting this on my blog and sent up a mass emailing to all those I know.

As they say, better safe than sorry!

I've read the treaty. It is, indeed, a step towards world government, ending in (by future treaties, of course) the dissolution of nationalities as we know them.

I found three references to "World Government" in the treaty, referred to in such a manner as to deem said "World Government" a power preeminent to the U.S. government. Bad stuff this.

It'll take 67 votes in the Senate to ratify. I don't see that happening, but contact McConnell and Bunning - and to be safe, stay friendly with both Grayson and Paul because it likely won't hit the Senate floor for a vote until 2011 (after one of them likely takes Bunning's seat next fall).

Seems off-topic. And alarmist.
Off topic from what? Are you that short sighted?

You don't wait for termites to eat your house to the ground before you do something do you? Oh it's only a couple, nothing to be alarmed about.....

If I had my choice of being wrong, I'll take concerned over complacent any day.

Quite frankly, I am alarmed. I assume since your here in the first place, your patriotic and as a patriotic American so should you be.

I'll thank you not to belittle such a potentially grave issue.

Thanks for the text! While I don't necessarily agree with the treaty, I found no references to a world government.

The issue comes with the inter-governmental panel described on p. 51. also read carefully the nexr-ro-last paragraph on p. 51.

Page 52 is especially frightening. Carbon Market Regulatory Authority. This section gives an independent panel power to control the establishment of new projects down to mom and pop businesses. In short, they can decide whether your new bow-tie repacking company can actually be started based its carbon footprint. Think gas station or dry cleaners as the first to be denied.

A careful reading will show that a great deal of our national sovereignty (particularly in the area of both new and existing businesses, including power plants and refineries) will be handed over to a "world" (if you will) governing body.

This is scary stuff, boys and girls. Scary stuff indeed!

This is not the first time something like this has happened. Does anyone remember Hitler with his new world order? You can only stretch the wool so far before you can see through it.
