Ask them why they are cowards and do not trust the Citizens that elected them and that they supposely serve as public servants or is this a racial issue or what ?

Shreveport LA is the only city which limits this training to Law Enforcement - ask Why ?

Is this a People Control (usually called gun control) issue ?

A racial issue (Mayor and Chief of Police - Black) (could not find a picture of the city council people of Shreverport, LA) ?

Wealthly Blacks do not want poorer Blacksand/or Whitesto attend ?

Is this a trust issue ? City govt does not trust it's Citizens in the city of Shreveport ?

Whydoes Shreveport limited this training to Law Enforcement ?

Armorer Class - May 4, 2010

Everywhere else in the Nation the Armorer Class (1 day training) is open to all Peace Officers, Military, and Glock Shooting Sports Foundation (GSSF) members ?

I sent an email to someone high up in SPD that I know.

Let's wait a couple business days before going off on everyone and see if it is something simple.

I'm being patient, what with the holidays and all.

I did get an email back from an Asst. Cheif, saying she forwarded the request for more information on to the Asst. Cheif over that division.

That was Thursday, I wasn't really expecting a reply till this week sometime. He'll probably have to get with whoever registered the class and find out more info.

Well, y'all can call if you want, I give up.

The first Asst. Cheif I emailed said she forwarded my concern on to another Asst. Cheif. That person never got back with me, so I emailed again, no reply. I did speak to one of the trainers at the academy the other day, and come to find out my email had been circulating (as if someone was trying to find out the answer), but no one really knows why the class is listed LEO only, apparently. No one seems to be insisting that it is LEO only, but no one seems empowered to change it, either. Just the impression I got from talking to people.

So, if y'all want to give it a try, I have done whatI know to do.
