Just an FYI to all, I didn't encounter any OC-related incidents in my time down there (I left a week ago but just got back around to posting here). AFAIK I didn't get any crazy stares from anyone, but who knows.
solus - sorry I didn't have time to make it out your way - I'll try to next time I'm in the state. I appreciate the offer.
By the way ... what's the deal in Chapel Hill? There's a minimum length requirement for OC? Or is it banned? I wasn't sure what the story was there so I refrained from OCing in that town.
The minimum length is measured from muzzle, back along the top and down the backstrap to the heel. It would take a very small pistol to be under 6". I have not seen this in Chapel Hill's ordinances.
