Would you send a gun to defend a British home?

When the government is in fear of bieng overthrown by another country they will do anything to prevent that, including arming the populace. But when the threat is eliminated the armed populace becomes the perceived threat.

NO, I would not.
through their own stupidity, they forfeited their natural right to self-defense
perhaps an occupation would (re?)-ignite the flame of freedom in that nation
whether it straightened them out or not, perhaps the occupation of a nation as closely tied to us as england would wake up the sheeple in this nation. I hope so, because otherwise we'll be in the same boat as them in 20 years.

I would not send them anything, They did not learn the last time. All we have gotten from them is socialist BS and Animal Rights Groups. If it were to happen again they deserve what they get.

I wouldn't send those people a rusty worn out .22. From what I have read on the subject of the last time that was done some of the folks here sent some pretty valuable firearms with the assurance that when the need was over they would be returned. The slimy bas---ds destroyed them all when the emergency passed.

Thousands of guns were loaned to the limeys in 1940 and after the war was over instead of returning them to the USA they were rounded up and destroyed! A helluva way to say "thank you" to the US citizens who loaned the guns!

'Sides, why send our firearms to ungrateful limeys when we may be needing them ourselves in the not too distant future.

The English didn't learn their lesson from WWII. They were unprepared for a potential invasion from the Germans. So, what did they do, they armed their citizens. Did they mass produce guns and ammo and distribute them to the citizenry, no. They mass procuded pikes.

That's right PIKES.

pike.h1.jpg

They distributed metal pike heads, and citizen used broomstick to make spears in order to defend Mother England if the Nazis invaded. The Nazis with thier rifles, machine guns, pistols, grenades, etc., were to be fought off with spears.

Compare this to the Japanese being afraid to invade the U.S. because there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

So, NO, the Brits can stew in their own pudding.

Absolutely not--let them first step forward, march in the streets and resist British government oppression.

There are more British citizens than there are British soldiers or police--when the people get tired of abuse, they have more than enough capability to take back their country.

Except there's probably an order of magnitude more government ammo than citizens'.

Except for one detail--with the proper motivation and the ability to think--that problem is easily solved....

Sounds like the interest owed on the guns they dumped would equal a total disarmament of their military, secret services, and police firearms officers, and transfer back to us. I wouldn't mind a HK G36.
