As I was finishing my christmas shopping at the local WalMart ( was open carrying ) a little girl about six or seven years of age commented to her Father " look Daddy he has a gun like yours" this started the conversation on the legality of open carry in Michigan, the reason we carry what we do , and gun things in general. I gave him one our pamphlets and he was very receptive to the open carry ideals.

My 8 year old said somethimg most adults in Lansing can't figure out.

I was getting dressed to go somewhere & he saw my empty holster & wanted to know where my gun was. I said in locked travel box. I told him that until I get new CPL I couldn't drive with loaded gun.

He said ..."But what if your attacked at a stop light? You can walk down the street wearing it."

Ah the wisdom of children....and he has 4 guns and shoots mine too.
