+10000!!!!!
This needs to be done. These people work full-time, enjoying 6-figure salaries, on our dime to legislate restrictions on business, our personal lives, privacy and income. These criminals work in the legislature because they feel enititled to the ridiculous pay, the ridiculous perks from lobbyists and the indescretions they get away with on a daily basis.

Look at how much you are spending in taxes: CA puts anyone making over 40k in the 10% bracket. Look at the astronomical sales tax: 7.75% in most counties, 9.75% in LA county! What are you getting for that!? Schools that are bankrupt and cant afford materials, freeways that are falling apart at the seams, a local and state government hellbent on spending your geeat-grandchildrens' income on more and more social welfare; most of it to illegal residents!

Get these career crooks out (there wont be any money in .gov for them) and get people who give q damn in. Texas has got their state legislature right. They meet once every two years, had a SURGE in economical growth (jobs+++) and the state has a monetary SURPLUS every year.

W-T-F CA Legislature?!?! Printed and signed. Get your family to sign. Know someone who owns a biz? I bet they want less operating taxes so get them to sign. Get your family, friends, post it on your facebook, myspace, twitter, anything. We're mad as f'ing hell what you're doing, and we're not gonna take it anymore!!!

We need to go the way of states like New Hampshire.

And each NH rep covers a district of just 3,300 people. They can't hide, when they literally live in the same neighborhoods as their constituents.

If California had the same proportion, they would have almost 11,400 state reps, and over 680 state senators. Imagine all that couldn't get done! :what::celebrate

Sadly, the change wouldn't be to 100 bucks a year, but it would reduce their salaries by 50% IIRC.

*Bump*

This topic still needs exposure. We should get a post on calguns and other pro-rights forums for CA too.

Post it on your facebook, myspace, twitter etc. Share with friends, family, business partners, anyone who is tired of being taxed into oblivion.
