Opened up my inbox, and this was waiting for me. I don't know who this person is or how they got my email address.

"Hello Sir Sorry to bother you I am about to take my cpl class but keep hearing about this open carry. I am in macomb county and do not think there are any groups like yours around here. Can you direct me to some info about this open carry? If I understand it correctly I can just carry my pistol in the open and my be harassed but they really can't do anything?"

I sent him/her (assuming it's a "him") a nice long email to get him/her started, and pointed him/her in this direction.

It's always odd when you get an email like that. Gotta wonder where they got it. Good for you for pointing them this direction!

A quick way to find out if your email address is available to others online is to do a Google search for your own address. Some of you might be surprised, others won't. All depends on how careful you've been online.
