We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :)
Please help by posting all issues here.
The forum will be down for about an hour this weekend for maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience.
California requires OC to be unloaded! Silly huh? And get this, the police even have the "authority" under state law to stop you absent reasonable suspicion and search your gun to make sure it's unloaded. Refusal to allow them to search is a crime! (Penal Code 12031(e)).
That's right, asserting your 4th amendment right to be free from unreasonable search is a crime in the People's Demokratic Republik of Kalifornia.
I've read this whole thread and several others, but have not seen anything that specifies if the writers are speaking about LOADED OC. I'm guessing all the references are to LOC but just want to be sure.
I visit Las Vegas on a regular basis and would love to LOC next time if the requirements are similar to California's UOC rules. Thanks in advance.
