oops, the thread is already here...

I don't mind watching the OC-Community (tea party 2.0's, who have hijacked the OC-Community) cannibalize itself. I do mind watching OC dragged through the gutter. OC is an exercise of A Right. I choose to not OC; I choose to not own firearms. I choose to leave the OC-Community to it's own self-inflicted injuries, and eventual implosion. Carry on...

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say she edited her post to say that after seeing someone else had started a topic...
"If we were to ever consider citizenship as the least bit matter of merit instead of birthright, imagine who should be selected as deserved representation of our democracy: someone who would risk their daily livelihood to cast an individually statistically insignificant vote, or those who wrap themselves in the flag against slightest slights." - agenthex

Ummm, after I posted the thread, I discoverred that there was already a thread started, so I "edited" this thread. Ummm, are you aware of a "delete" button anywhere on the thread that I may delete this thread?

Ok my bad. Far as I know there's no way to delete threads, think we could use one tho.

I wished at times there was a way to delete threads but have since rethought that.

Many people may post some great things in your thread after added.

Just say oops and carry on.
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)

If the original poster replies to the thread, he or she could ask the moderator to remove the thread. Or, you could send the moderator a PM asking the same. John and Mike seem reasonable enough to grant that request. As long as the member doesn't make it a habit. Or like SVG said, "oopsy, and CARRY ON!"

Sure, that makes perfect sense, and it does happen here with some frequency.

However, the unadorned link is not exactly self-explanatory. How about prefacing it with something simple like:

Oops, there's already a discussion of this here: http://some.where.or.other
