Went to ship some ammo at the UPS hub in Louisville yesterday. A large sign on the side of the building had "No concealed weapons allowed on premises per KRS 237.020".

Now I just looked that up, and here's what it pertains to:

"Right of Kentucky residents, out-of-state residents, and residents of other countries to buy firearms"

And I thought the KRS quote at the movie theater was a dandy. This tops them all.

I've mentioned before that some banks and a smattering of shops in northern Kentucky have signs which warn to the effect of: "Pursuant to ORC 2926...."

Yes that's right these places in Ky. are citing Ohio Revised Codein the attempt tokeep us armed good guys out.

Ky. Soldier:

Two that come to mind are 5/3 Bank branches in Bellevue and Newport. Also recall seeing the same thing at the thrift shop in Newport Shopping Plaza, but that was a while back.

You'll get nowhere talking to anybody from 5/3 on the matter.Their reply will be some mix of outright lying and "We'll have to get back to you on that".

LOL. I live near the Texas/Arkansas line, and I saw one Arkansas business (literally on State Line Avenue, their front door was 60 feet from the border) post a Texas PC 30.06 notice.

While it definitely met the Arkansas "clearly readable from 10 feet" rule, it didn't meet their language requirement. So, it didn't legally bar handgun carriers from either state. ;)
