From time to time I like to post good experiences to balance out the not-so-good experiences that are posted here. Let me preface this to say that I've never had a problem in Gig Harbor.

Yesterday, I went to Office Depot on Borgan about 10AM. As I pulled into the lot, I noticed a Gig Harbor Police cruiser parked near the front door. I entered the store and saw the LEO at the checkout register. He saw me come in and clearly saw my holsteredrevolver.

I picked out the item I needed, and when I arrived at the register, he was just picking up his purchases. He took a look at me as he prepared to leave, and I said, "Good morning." He returned the greeting and departed.

Life is good on the peninsula.

You're carrying a revolver these days? Welcome to the cylindrical side of the house! :)
Some days are Kimber days, some are Taurus "Judge" days. I love variety!

You are my hero, I want "The Judge". Did want a snub S/W 500, but to much recoil for me.
+1 for The Judge. I just need a decent holster for it and I'll be carrying mine around too.

I have had two bad experiences in Gig Harbor, but they were both in my early days of OC when I was a lot more nervous and probably looked nervous as well. I hate to say it, but appearances do make a difference. If you look nervous you'll make other people nervous, but if you look calm you have that calming effect on people around you.

I haven't had ANY issues in Gig Harbor since.
