From what I've read you can open carry in Gov. building's as long there are no anti-gun signs or metal detectors. Or is that only for CC. I have a registration coming up and possibly get a new plate for my truck.

IIRC there is a sign clearly posted on the front of the building when you enter. If it isn't there, there's a security guard right at the front that will tell you to go put it away. Leave it in the truck for this one.

I open carry at DMV with no problems. Other forum members also open carry at DMV with no problems. We've all posted about our success with this in other threads.

If a sign is post posted on a public building pursuant to NRS 202.3673, concealed carry is not allowed. There is no law forbidding the open carry of weapons in public buildings. Additionally, for the CC ban to be "legal", the law requires it to be posted at EVERY public entrance. If there is a single door that is not posted, the ban on concealed carry is not lawful.
