Open Carry, Hiking and Camping

I`m a newb, and I`m sure this has been asked before, but can you open carry ( or with a ccw ) while hiking or camping in Louisiana and Mississippi? I know there is supposed to be a new law coming in effect in February, about carrying in national parks, but can you do it now? Thanks.
