Sec. 27-21. Firearms.
Agent or employee licensees may have the right to carry firearms only after completion of a firearm proficiency program under the direction and control of the Riley County police department and the certification by the director or his designee that the licensee has completed the program and has demonstrated his proficiency in the use and safety of a firearm. The authority to carry a firearm will be extended only while the licensee is performing the required duties of his employment and while in route to or from his place of business. The right to carry a firearm may be suspended or revoked by the director if the right has been abused. Such decision by the director shall be effective immediately, provided however that appeal from the decision may be made to the governing body.

Sec. 22-66. Deadly weapons.
It shall be unlawful for any person who is not an officer of the law to be found within the limits of the city carrying on his person in a concealed manner any pistol, bowie knife, switch blade knife, dirk, slungshot, knucks or any other deadly weapons.

Sec. 22-67. Discharging firearms.
It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot or discharge any gun, pistol or other firearm or any gun or weapon which is designed to expel a projectile by the action of compressed air, gas, spring or elastic which is capable of causing injury or damage to person or property; provided, that the provisions of this section shall not apply to the discharge of firearms at any licensed shooting gallery or by a gunsmith in his trade, or to duly constituted police or military officers in the performance of their official duties.

Sec. 7-61. Firearms.
No person except duly authorized law enforcement officers, post office, customs, armored car, express, air carrier and airport employees, members of the armed forces of the United States authorized thereby, or persons carrying cased sporting guns for trans-shipment, shall carry firearms or explosives on the aircraft. All persons other than those excepted above shall surrender all such objects to the airport director or his/her representative requesting same.

Sec. 9-32. Conduct in cemeteries generally.
Rules and regulations pertaining to conduct in cemeteries shall be as follows. No persons, without specific authority from the city, shall:
(1)Enter a cemetery, except through an established gate;
(2)Behave in a manner not consistent with the solemn nature of a public burial ground;
(3)Deposit rubbish or debris on any part of the cemetery grounds, except in receptacles provided;
(4)Pick or mutilate any flowers, either wild or domestic, or disturb any tree, shrubs or other plant material;
(5)Consume refreshments or liquors in a cemetery or carry same upon the premises;
(6)Permit any dog to enter or remain in a cemetery, except seeing-eye dogs;
(7)Use any form of advertising on cemetery premises;
(8)Mar, injure, destroy, displace or remove any monument or other property in or about the cemetery grounds;
(9)Discharge firearms or fireworks in or immediately adjacent to any cemetery (this prohibition shall not apply to authorized volleys at burial services);
(10)Enter or remain in cemeteries between the hours of sunset and sunrise.
