Why was the "Anty506, what is your side of the story" thread closed?

The thread in question had some contretemps earlier, but was revived because of a legitimate news update, which led to some discussion about the law in question. I can't find a rules violation in the recent posts, other than someone making a snarky post about druggies.

As is the case with most threads here, there are mostly small-minded comments directed towards the poster of the message, whatever it may be.
It's more than obvious, most here aren't truly concerned with learning anything, but arguing about anything posted. Again, it reminds me of the description of great minds, mediocre minds and small minds.

Bet if you PM'd Anthony and expressed a sincere interest in his plight, he'd discuss certain matters with you.
