One more instance where being armed might have saved a few lives.

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Authorities now say three people are dead and four are wounded after a man armed with an assault rifle and a handgun opened fire at a St. Louis manufacturing plant.

Police Capt. Sam Dotson confirmed the number but did not have names or details about the victims.

The shooting began around 6:30 a.m. Thursday at Swiss-based ABB Group's plant in St. Louis. Police are going room by room inside the sprawling plant, searching for the shooter and additional victims.

Many of the 40 or 50 employees inside the plant at the time of the shooting hid on the rooftop, in boiler rooms and in closets.

Fire Department spokesman Bob Keuss says at least two of the victims were in critical condition.
Word is that the shooter finally offed himself in the building, but I can't find any news stories containing it.

I have to wonder on the statistics of armed citizens stopping lunatics before they kill several people. I know the propaganda ministry will not sensationalize it, and I doubt adequate statistics are even kept.

I dont know of any employers that allow the carry of weapons on the work premises. I know mine doesnt. If the families of the dead and injured were to sue that plant for not protecting their employees, and not allowing their employees to protect themselves it may bring to light this problem of work place shootings.

They won't? Come come, you know better than that. The antis will be screaming for the AWB again and bemoaning how our 2A must be redacted in order to provide us security.

The most important thing is to focus attention heavily on the murderer. This deters others from emulating his actions... the way that feeding bears teaches them to avoid humans...

This is the only way.

We have voted our way into socialism.

Americans respond todollars, not sense.
