So really off topic here but to whom would you pay property taxes to?
On fee simple land the taxes go to the county. Fee simple land is privately owned, it is not leased land. That's a whole 'nother category.

Simple fix to all of this....

Write a letter to the Tribal Judge, inform him of what transpired. Attach copies of the various training bulletins. The issue WILL be resolved.

Wrote a 3.25 page letter over the weekend addressed to the Tribal Judge using the information M1Gunr passed along. Fairly simple, had to do with what transpired and recited some of the RCWs. I also printed out one of the pamphlets from the site and put it with the envelope. I stated that I didn't want it to be used as a complaint and more as a learning aid. Mentioned I would like a response back.

That was the extremely short version. Sent it today and hopeful have a response back by the end of next week.

we require the PT to pay for "items" upfront, unlike most other agency's(who we bill) even other tribal PD we have no problems with

the PT will just NOT pay.......learned the hardway.....
