In case anyone cares, I decided to start writing, will be collecting my articles here. I'd like to do some writing about California and New York more.

    Amen, nice article.

There are quite a few other examples that are very similar to Officer Edwards' death.

But it is the truth, Gun Rights are Civil Rights inded.

    Good article.

Having the police point a gun at my head for simply OCing was unnerving and I shudder to think what would have happened if things didn't go exactly as they did. Especially since the officer didn't identify himself as an officer. I feel strongly that your points need to be brought to life and our police departments need strong adjustment to the overall mentality.
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)

Good article! I am more fearful of being wrongly shot by police for openly carrying a weapon, than I am of meeting up with a criminal! In fact, I strongly suspect I have met many criminals over the decades, and I just as strongly suspect the vast majority of criminals will beat feet when they observe anyone openly carrying a firearm.
The First protects the Second, and the Second protects the First. Together, they protect the rest of our Bill of Rights and our United States Constitution, and help We the People protect ourselves in the spirit of our Declaration of Independence.
