Why Liberals Should Love the Second Amendment -- it deserves to be defended with as much vigor as the rest.

I wish it meant something, but year after year liberals work to take the 2nd away, not because they don't understand it, but because it interfers with CONTROL.

Socialists are all about control and will always be enemies of free men.

Only read the 2nd one so far, but it's refreshing to see a "liberal" to think that way. Overall I think Angry Mouse made very good points, and wish more liberals were like Angry Mouse.

Like Grishnav, I was pleasantly surprised to see such an article on the Daily Kos, given its rep.

    Thanks for the links!

    Great article. Thanks for sharing.
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)
