Today, the Glenn County Board of Education reversed the decision of the Willows Unified School District and Principal Mort Geivett and reinstated Gary Tudesko at Willows High School. Gary had been expelled after unloaded shotguns were found in his truck that was parked off campus after an early morning hunt. This represents a victory for law-abiding gun-owners, particularly young adults who wish to enjoy their rights, over nonsensical "zero tolerance" policies.

The "Statement of Decision" by the Glenn County Board of Education is now available on http://www.calgunlaws.com.

It is a public document at this point, which means you do not have to register to view it; however, we encourage you to register so that you can automatically receive updates about what is going on in California gun law.

Wow, did you see the statement by the Principal? Translation: "If he had just submitted meekly to his betters, none of this would have become public."

There's a person who shouldn't be in charge of a bucket of sand...

It seems the Board of Education was as perturbed by the principal's comments as most of us are.
