OC in morganton?

I will be visiting morganton (its close to Hickory) this summer and wonder if I can open carry in and around that town. Any help would be appreciated. Btw, no I don't have a CC permit at this time.

NC state law has preemption on private property to include business, I don't think Morganton has any local ordinances about OC on sidewalks, etc. Check with the town hall to be sure. If you get into Hickory you are good to go. I have never had a problem with OC. And the PD just put out a memo on OC that I am going to start another thread about.
