What about Springfeild's XD lineup? Very reliable, not too expensive and come in a variety of calibers and sizes.

I've got Subcompacts in both 9mm and .45 and love them. However, they are made in Croatia for SA.

The only issues I've found is that they do not eat Wolf and they wouldn't eat some lead round-nosed bullets I'd reloaded. No other operational issues.

How about a Ruger SR9. They feel real good in the hand and have the reliability of a Ruger.
If they made it in a 45 I would have one.

You can go find a Glock where the frame is made in Georgia. Just make sure it doesn't say Austria on the frame and your good to go. Even tho the rest of the parts will say Austria but that's not technically the firearm.

Or you could wait till Glock starts producing them fully here in Georgia and get one then.

I was waiting for someone to suggest Springfield. I think I'm going to get the XDM 9mm.
