I'd been reading here about Peet's Coffee & Tea banning OCers at their establishments. Yesterday, while conducting OC operations in Santa Clara, I patronized a Peet's in order to gauge their response. I was greeted by Amy, who stated she was nervous at first. I asked her what the policy was on weapons and she stated she didn't know. Rachel, another employee, didn't know either, and I asked her for a business card.
The establishment had about 8 other patrons, while others came in and out. I think we were there about 30 minutes without incident.
Good after dinner coffee at the time, but left my stomach a little queasy.
