I sent Starbucks the following message this morning via the comment form on their website.

"Thank you for allowing your stores to follow state laws regarding the carrying of firearms by law abiding citizens. I have learned that there is a petition by the Brady Center trying to pressure you to change this policy. Please resist this effort because the right to keep and bear arms is one of our most fundamental civil rights. If your current policy concerning the legal possesion of firearms stays in place I will be a customer for life. Thanks again and best wishes for the future."

It probably wouldn't hurt for them to get an influx of positive comments regarding their current policy and an up tick in sales. I plan to take a group to as many of our local stores as I can and fill out a comment card at each one.

Rugerp345,

Carry them however YOU want to, whatever works for YOU, not how other people say they "should" be carried.

After all, who's going to be drawing your gun & magazines? You or them?

Agreed. Just a statement of fact though-all the top IPSC competitors carry spare mags bullets forward.

Well, what do I know? :p

After all, I do things "wrong" myself, such as carry my primary gun in an ankle holster, carry a gun of an "inferior" and "ineffective" caliber, etc..

But it works for me.

Besides, IMO, tactics is 50% of the self-defense equation, something most people don't even consider as they only think about the GUN/CALIBER they carry, not how they'll actually USE it.

So I guess I could be doing worse...;)
