Wyoming has the Right Idea!

Check out what I just read about on the Wyoming Thread. Wyoming Reps have the right Idea here. Lets support this bill in Wyoming and push for a similar one here.

"Wyoming Firearms Freedom Act HB0028

AN ACT relating to Wyoming Firearms Freedom Act, establishing a Wyoming Firearms Freedom Act; providing definitions; providing that specified firearms that are manufactured, sold, purchased, possessed and used exclusively within Wyoming shall be exempt from federal regulation, including registration requirements; providing exceptions; providing legislative findings and declaration of authority; and providing for an effective date.

I haven't read Wyoming's yet, but I have already written all of my state reps. I told them to make sure that they include what New Hampshire did, that a federal agent would be charged with a felony for arresting anyone in the state for something in the freedom act. And also to add that if someone in the state is charged by the feds for something in the freedom act, that the state attorney general/state would defend said citizen. This way the people of the state won't be afraid to manufacture and sell according to the freedom act, because they would be financially liable for their defense when the feds prosecute.

Just some ideas to get Idaho's Firearms Freedom Act going, and to put some teeth behind it so we can actually exercise it.

Everyone needs to get on board though, I know my area's reps are.

Just for clarification:

SB 11 was passed by the House and now goes to the Senate for consideration.

Not so, SB11 passed the Senate on February 3rd, before it went to the House. Now that the House has passed it, it goes to the Governor for signature.

Word is that the Governor is dragging his feet and considering a veto because he is afraid of the litigation costs it may bring.
