OK, todayI went to Office Depot 1/2 hour or so, then to the Grease Monkey again 1/2 hour, Fred Meyer 3/4 hour, on to my sons school left weapon in the car 1 hour, then to BI Mart 1/4 hour, thenhome. No one said anything OCed the whole time except at the high school of course.

Oh yeah a guy lookedupset with me last week in Fred Meyer.

Normal day of OC in Spokane and Deer Park.

Wife and I went to the Senior Center today to have AARP do our taxes. I OC'd but no one noticed until I went to the restroom. Another "patron" asked why I carried so I told him "you never know who you are going to meet in a restroom" :celebrateand then told him about OC.

I open carried my full size pistol to cash a check at the bank then went shopping in Everett WA. People look but they don't see or care. Just like any other day.

Sweeeeet. Thanks guys. Livin in MD, reading your stories is like reading gun porn!

Our legislature is talking about forming a license board just to BUY a gun and mark your DL that ur a gun owner, besides enhance penalties for this and that.....

I am clearly envious.

If I posted a daily log of my open carry stories there would be a great deal of nothing to post about. I open carry almost everywhere I go and most people don't seem to notice. To be honest, the last issue I had was with the Spokane Public Facilities District concerning their flagrant ignorance on AGO 8, 2008 and that was more than a few months ago.

Every once in a while I have a pleasant conversation with someone who is curious about open carry, but I think so many see me and just assume I'm some kind of an LEO that I don't get more than a raised eyebrow now and then.

I guess the problem is how to appear in a manner that makes it impossible to assume I'm not an off-duty LEO and yet still appear respectable enough not to give folks a terrible impression of gun-owners.

I guess what I'm saying is that sometimes no news is good news.
