Obama Finds Legal Way Around The 2nd Amendment And Uses It.

If This Passes, There Will Be WAR

Just got this pass it far & wide.

On Wednesday Obama Took the First Major Step in a Plan to Ban All Firearms in the United States
On Wednesday the Obama administration took its first major step in a plan to ban all firearms in the United States. The Obama administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms.

The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling the truth? What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment.

This is not a joke nor a false warning. As sure as government health care will be forced on us by the Obama administration through whatever means necessary, so will gun control.

U.S. reverses stance on treaty to regulate arms trade

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.

The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush's administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better. Barry (Presidents) cannot constitutionally sign treaties, that requires an act of Congress. He was reminded of this by a Senator from I think Virginia when he told America before Thanksgiving he was going to Copenhagen to sign that Global " Hoax" warming treaty. I have heard of this, but I don't give it credence!

Bad news...BUT... any treaty like this would have to pass the U.S. Senate. If you remember, the U.S. Senate passed the National Park carry bill, the D.C. gun ban repeal, and the Amtrack bill. All by 60+ votes in favor, though, not all have passed the house, and therefore have not been signed into law. This treaty would take 67 votes in the Senate to pass.

Does this mean we should sit by and count on our Senators voting the right way? NO!! We need to mail, call, and email our Senators and DEMAND that they vote NO if this comes up.

Some years ago, Dan Shea, or maybe someone working for him, went to a UN conference on small arms trafficking and did a story on it in Small Arms Review. The article was quite specific about the UN not really caring about US legal gun ownership, and being more concerned about Nickolas cage style wars in 3rd world countries.

I don't pretend to be an expert on this subject, but I don't find much to be alarmed at with what is here. I see no specific provisions even for registration of weapons made and sold within a single country. But I do see millions of people with guns in this country, ready to give up their lives in a civil war if idiot politicians try to take the second amendment away, and those idiot politicians know it. Possible yes, likely, I think not.

I do see the Heritage foundation being against this, which if we're going to be honest, is largely an elitist/war profiteering club with many members who specialize in manipulating large groups of people to make huge money. I don't think they'd want to offend their smaller pawn members by having guns banned, but at the same time, I don't think they'd want to offend their arms trafficking members/friends who could loose millions on an international treaty to stop 3rd world slaughter. That would means less useless wealth in the bank, and that's no good.

Edit to add: To be clear, there are a lot of good people in the Heritage foundation, and I am not trying to slam honest conservatives. Good people who do good things can be found on every side of the political spectrum. But at the higher levels, I definitely dislike a lot about the Heritage bunch.

However Michigander, when then Ambassador John Bolton said that the U.S. would not agree to any treaty that would interfere with the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution, it essentially squashed the whole treaty. If it truly did only impact illicit sales among nations, then there shouldn't have been any issue with the 2nd Amendment, and the treaty could have been passed.

I try to deal in facts, as do most here. If there is something here I am missing, and there is a specific threat from a treaty, then we need to act on it.

It's pretty difficult to deal in facts these days when they're obscured by a bunch of legalese and slick politics. It takes so much time and effort to research something. Unfortunately, I believe this is intentional by design to allow things to slip through that otherwise would not.

That won't stop them from trying to dupe the public, though. They will do what we let them. We need to make sure they know we won't let them.

Anything the so called President Ho bama signs isnt legal at this point anyway, do to the fact that he isnt a legal president. Thats the Fact. Where did all the information regarding his birth certificate go? What country was he born in? He isnt my President and I do not recognize him assuch or any laws that are envoked by himdo to his failure to provide proof of his true birth place to the American people. Until valid documentation is provided I personally feel the american people should seek to impeech him.

A whole hell of a lot of sleazy things take place behind closed doors.

But as it pertains to our gun freedoms, organizations like the GOA and NRA are quite good at letting us know when a gun rights problem is on the horizon. Take for example the ban they tried to do on used lake city brass. Gun owners swamped congress with complaints, and it was reversed in a matter of days.

There are all together too many stupid rumors that float around, like primers having a secret new shelf life, as if CCI or Winchester wants to help screw us over in some big conspiracy.

The NRA spends absurd amounts of man hours confirming the falsehood of rumors started for no good reason. To mitigate this, the best thing anyone can do is ignore rambling lunatics like Alex Jones, and get worried if and only if a credible threat or other problem is identified.

Remember Govt. Can (Possible) do what ever they want, but they will have to face the consequences! Like it or not we have rights granted by God, & guaranteed by George! Plus we have the right, & duty to Defend them.
