All in all we have it pretty good in Tennessee, so consequently there is not a lot of aggressiveness among HCP holders. That said, sometimes it's good to beard the lion.

I'm new to this site also, and a female with a carry permit. Is there any way to know when someone updates information on laws, etc., that will effect us?

This site is your best bet. TFA.org is occasionally helpful. The House and Senate administrative offices can provide updates and don't overlook your individual legislators. Their emails are easy to find and most are responsive.

Plan a meet -n- greet and put some faces to those of you in the same area.

Breakfast, dinner, BBQ - whatever - it doesn't have to be a formal occasion - just normal, every day folks sitting down to eat.

Even just 2 or 3 people can be a great way to spend some time.
